After having used my Coloursoft for quite awhile, I have mixed feelings about it. I like the richness of the colour and the softness but find it rather hard to get crisp edges. Bought some Derwent Studio Colour Pencils to complement them and seems to be working well together for now. Will probably need to expand my Studio range of colours though.

I find the tin of 36 Coloursoft I bought rather odd in the colour combinations for my style. Had to buy over a dozen more colours individually to be able to get the blends I want.

Very interested in trying Prismacolor Premiere and Verithin but not able to find them in my regular art store which is the 'biggest' one here. I will have to keep a look out for them if I go to other art stores to look for Bristol and Vellum paper/pads for my colour pencils.

Oooo Pastel!

Tried pastel for the first time last week and absolutely love the 'freedom' of it. It was extremely liberating to not have to be precise and meticulous as I have to be with colour pencils.

Really liking the graphite pieces with pastel colour accents and will probably keep that style in my mind for any new pieces.

Got a tin of 36 Derwent Coloursoft. Not a big fan as yet but in all fairness I haven't explored it a great deal. On the little pieces I've done they don't seem to make a great deal of difference compared to the student ones I already had besides better blendability. Will continue testing. Biggest problem I have now is finding time to do both digital and traditional medium.....

Got me a wacom bamboo manga tablet. Its alot harder to use and takes alot of getting use to but I'm sure I can get used to it with alot of practise.

Somehow digital painting/sketching doesn't give me the same satisfaction as using actual art materials but its alot more forgiving and faster than the traditional method. I could grow to love this.
